To provide our services to you, we will ask you to provide the necessary personal information for those services. 27If you do not provide your personal information, we may not be able to provide you with the corresponding products or services. 28

1. Information You Voluntarily Provide to Us

29

Information Collected Based on Additional Functions 37

To provide you with more convenient and higher-quality products and/or services and to enhance your experience, we may collect and use your personal information in the following additional services. 38If you do not provide this information, it will not affect your use of the basic services of the App, but you may not be able to enjoy the user experience brought by these additional services. 39 These additional services include:

  •
  •

Additional services based on Location Information: When you enable the location function of your mobile device through system authorization and use location-based services, we will collect and use your location information to enable you to use the App to configure the network for smart devices. 40 The reason for needing location permission in “Add Device” (Android only) is that when you enter the add device screen, Bluetooth scanning is used to search for nearby devices. We need this permission to perform Bluetooth communication, and since collecting your location information is required for Bluetooth scanning, you need to enable Bluetooth and grant location permission to add a device; otherwise, the “Add Device” function will not be available. 41When you use our specific products or services (weather service/home management), based on your consent, we will collect real-time precise or non-precise geolocation information about you. 42When you use the geofencing feature and a location change occurs by creating a scene, we will request permission to collect background location information to achieve the automation you desire. 43You can stop our collection of your location information by turning off the location service in your mobile device’s system settings. 44

  •
  •
  •
  •

Additional services based on the Camera: You can use the camera to scan QR codes to add devices you have purchased and to record videos after enabling camera permission. 45Please be aware that even if you have agreed to enable camera permission, we will only acquire information when you actively scan a code or use the camera to record. 46The scanning function will collect light sensor information to determine whether to display the flashlight function. 47

  •
  •
  •
  •

Additional services based on access to and uploading from the Photo Album (Image/Video Library): You can use this function to upload your photos/pictures/videos after enabling photo album permission, to provide evidence when reporting issues with device usage. 48When you report a device usage problem, we will use the photos/pictures you upload to locate your problem. 49

  •
  •
  •
  •

Additional services related to voice technology based on the Microphone: After enabling the microphone permission, you can use the microphone for voice functions, including recording video and waking up the voice assistant. 50 In these functions, we will collect your voice information to recognize your command requests. Please be aware that even if you have agreed to enable microphone permission, we will only obtain voice information through the microphone when you actively click the microphone icon within the App or record a video. 51

  •
  •
  •
  •

Additional services based on Storage Permission (Android only): We request this permission to ensure the stable operation of the client. 52After you enable our permission to read/write to your device’s storage, we will read from or write to your device’s storage space necessary information such as pictures, files, and crash logs, to provide you with information publishing features or to record crash log information locally. 53

  •
  •
  •
  •

Additional services based on Notification Permission: We request this permission to push notifications about products or services to you, especially if you have purchased services that require sending alerts for you to capture real-time situations. 54

  •
  •
  •
  •

Additional services related to Bluetooth technology: You can use Bluetooth functions after enabling Bluetooth permission, including device control, device status acquisition, device discovery, and device network configuration. 55 In these functions, we will communicate with the terminal device via Bluetooth. Please be aware that even if you have agreed to enable Bluetooth permission, we will only use Bluetooth for communication in these scenarios: displaying device status on the homepage and device panel; controlling devices on the homepage and device panel; and discovering and configuring devices on the homepage and add device page. 56

  •
  •

Please note that you understand and agree that the above additional services require you to enable access permissions for Location Information (geolocation), Camera, Photo Album (image library), Microphone (voice), and Internal/External Storage on your device to enable the collection and use of information related to these permissions. 57You can check the status of the above permissions in your device settings and decide whether to turn them on or off. 58 Please be aware that enabling any permission means you authorize us to collect and use the relevant personal information to provide you with the corresponding service. Once you disable any permission, you cancel the authorization, and we will no longer collect and use the relevant personal information based on that permission, nor can we provide you with the service corresponding to that permission. 59However, your decision to disable a permission will not affect the information collection and use previously carried out based on your authorization. 60
